COOL IDEAS

Here are some ideas found on the internet that would lead to neat interfaces using image slicing.  Please find your own idea.

COOL NAVIGATION GRAPHIC

A neat navigation bar.  Such graphics are often found online.  However, to add mouseover effects, you need to use the image slicing technique.

NICE GRAPHIC DESIGN

Such a neat graphic design could be created as a single image in photoshop.  Then, with image slicing, you could make each rectangle lead to different content areas.

COOL WORLD DESIGN

This front end for a website is done in Flash.  However, this could be done with our technique (though Flash allows for more interaction).

AN IPOD

A common object that serves as a menu can be quite interesting.  With enough time, one could even customize the small icons on the ipod to reflect the site’s content.

BOOKS

A book stack could be an interesting menu system.  It would require a way to clearly identify what each book might be pointing to.

SPONSOR LOGOS

For websites that represent events that have important sponsors, this technique would allow for a sleak and compact display of the sponsor logos that could like to their real sites.

HAT

This hat with different sports teams could serve as a neat front end interface to a website.  Of course, you do need all the teams to be visible.
