LESSON 07 – MULTI-CAMERA SHOOT & AUDIO

TASK

You will record an interview using two different cameras and an audio recording device. You will then use all three sources of data to create one short video clip that is at least 45 seconds long.

You can simply script the interview in advance in order to simplify this process. You can even make it a fun topic (school appropriate!).

STEPS

• Script an interview. Have both the interviewer and interviewee practice their lines a little. No reading allowed on camera!
• Decide how the two people will be placed for the interview.
• Choose a shooting location that has good lighting.
• Plan the location of the devices (audio, video 1, video 2).
• Shoot the scene (starting with TAKE 1)
• In a video editing software, put it all together.
• Submit your work.
