LESSON 02 – INTRO TO VIDEO PRODUCTION

TASK 1

Below are links to six different versions of an evolving script of the original Star Wars movie. Look at each one and notice how it evolves from very general to very specific.

Script 1 – Script 2 – Script 3 – Script 4 – Script 5 – Script 6

For the first version, summarize in point form what the script contains. For every other version, continue to summarize how it differs from the previous version.

TASK 2

Students will storyboard a section of a movie. Because it is hard to follow a movie and storyboard it, students will only have to draw one picture per scene.

The movie will be stopped after important scenes in order to discuss what they added to the film.
