          Article 1 - The Beginner's Guide to Product Photography (Tutorial + Examples)

·       Read the entire article.  It is excellent.

 

          Article 2 - 14 Product Photography Tips to Make You Look Like a Pro

·       Read tips 5 to 12.  Tip 10 interestingly lists product photography specifications for both Amazon and Google.  You do not need to know this but it is an interesting read.

          Article 3 - How to Master Product Photography on a Tight Budget (We Did it With Less Than $50)

 

·       Do not read this entire article as it is lengthy.  Simply scan through it searching for interesting topics that might help you.

·       Near the bottom in the FAQ section, the article lists different types of shots related product photography:

 

                    Individual shots: A shot of your product (with a white background).

                    Lifestyle shots: Shots of your product being used.

                    Scale shots: Helps users get a better ideas of the size of the product.

                    Detailed shots: A close up view to highlight specific product features.

                    Group shots: Groups of products showcased together.

                    Packaging shots: An image of the product’s packaging.

 

          Article 4 - 12 Beginner Tips for Better Product Photography

 

·       This article contains many details related to DSLR cameras or details that have been covered in other articles.  There is no need to read it.  You can briefly scan through it.

·       Check out Tip #11.

·       Check out the Bonus: Product Photography Ideas for Beginners section at the bottom.  It suggests using nature, pets and children in your photos – some interesting new ideas.

 

          Article 5 - E-Commerce for Beginners: Product Photography Mistakes That May Cost You Sales

 

·       This articles contains photo examples of poor product photography with suggestions on how to fix the problems.  I encourage you to scan through it.
