We will
consider a project that would require the best engineers in the world. The project is to build a bridge. A big bridge! The biggest in the world! In this
lesson, we will look at the challenges of building a bridge from Alaska
(United States) to Siberia (Russia).
That part of the ocean is called the Bering Strait. In its smallest section, it is still an
incredible 90 kilometers wide! On maps,
we almost always see the world like this.
However,
the world is round and one can certainly travel from Alaska to Siberia.
