SEQUENTIAL PROJECT #9 – JK FLIP FLOP

The JK Flip Flop is similar to the Gated SR Flip Flop but includes two new feedback connections. Also, the two AND gates are replaced by 3-input AND gates.

The effect of the new connections is interesting. When both the J and K are 1, the Q and notQ toggle (switch values). All other situations work exactly the same as an SR Flip Flop with K being similar to R and S being similar to J. (Notice that both the letters J and K only need a short curved line to become S and R.)

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS

Create a JK Flip Flop anyway your want. It might be worth checking to see if we have a JK Flip Flop IC circuit.
