PROJECT APPROVALS   Hussain AlqassabHussain (aka The Flash) is working on a new lift for the Robotics club
robot.  This new lift is expected to
help the robot be more competitive at the upcoming provincial competition.
Evan BirdEvan is working on data scraping using Java.
He is hoping to learn how to access specific information by parsing
the data of an html document.
Mitchell DuboisMitchell is working on creating an encryption/decryption program in Python.  He will start with using the Ceasar cipher
and will consider moving on to other ciphers if there is enough time.
 Phoenix Ostrander-Holmes
 Phoenix will
be working on transmitting morse code via flashing LED using an Arduino and
then receiving that message with an LDR on a different Arduino. The challenge
will be to convert the incoming sequences of “ON” and “OFF” from morse code
  into letters.

Dmitri Rios-NadeauDmitri is using an Arduino to connect a finger print scanner, an LCD screen
and an electric door lock.  The plan is
to make certain fingerprints be able to unlock a safe that is locked by the
electric lock.  The LCD screen will
hopefully display the status of the operation and might greet the owner of
  the finger print.
   Zachary Ross Zachary is
designing a catapult-style ball launcher for the Robotics club robot.  This new launcher is needed to make the
robot more competitive for the upcoming provincial competition.
