CIRCUITS 2 – LOGIC CIRCUITS

CIRCUIT 2-1
Use a 7408 IC and show the truth table.

CIRCUIT 2-2
Use a 7432 IC and show the truth table.

If time permits, your teacher will help you compare the first two circuits to their version in Logic.ly.

CIRCUIT 2-3
Create the circuit A AND B OR C = Q.  So the result of A AND B will go into the OR gate along with C.  And the result of the OR gate is Q.

CIRCUIT 2-4
After looking over the XOR gate’s truth table, create a circuit that will add up two bits together.  This circuit is called a half adder.  Here is a diagram that will help you.

CIRCUIT 2-5
Use a 7-segment display.  You must be able to connect the wires to make any number.

CIRCUIT 2-6

Include a 7447 IC to drive the 7-segment display.  Input 4 binary digits and get the corresponding display.
