ANIMATION PROJECT – STEP PRODUCT

PROJECT

You will create a short professional-looking 5-15 second animation relating to the STEP program. This will be a text animation where you will work with the letters S T E P and animate them. You can create the letters in a different software if you prefer. Feel free to add other items/images. You can also add Lockerby or Lockerby Composite School in your animation.

STEPS TO FOLLOW (See what I did there?)

-As a group, brainstorm keywords relating to STEP.

-As a group, list out different ideas of visual symbolism related to STEP (ie: gear, atom, …)

-Individually, sketch 3 different animation ideas relating to STEP using arrows and explanations for your animation.

-Show your ideas to a partner to get some feedback and make improvements (if needed).

-Determine which idea you like best.

-Create that animation.
