to see the product you need to create.
Hints
- Start by putting your stationary text by using the
text tool. Size it as you would
like.
Note that using the Cursor tool and selecting the text, gives you text
font and colour options on the right in the Inspector. You might have to scroll down below
other options.
- Lock the layer so that you do not accidentally
change it.

- Make a copy of the text and paste it on a new layer.
- Select the copied text with the Cursor tool and
change its colour.
- With the text selected, use the arrow keys to place
it a few pixels to the left of the stationary text.

- Stretch the stationary text’s layer from one frame
to 24 frames.

- Now do the same for the other layer with your other
text.
- With the playhead on the first frame, click on
Tween.
- Place the playhead on frame 12, select the text with
the Cursor tool and use the Right arrow key to make the text slide to
the right. This will add a
diamond on your timeline.

- Now place the playhead on the last frame, select the
text with the Cursor tool and use the Left arrow key to place the text
back at its starting position on the left. Done!
