DESCRIPTION

Find a large image. Crop out a section of it and then enlarge it.

Image Size – Document Size - The physical size of the image is changed. This file size might not change if the resolution is set to automatically change. This change will not be seen in Photoshop.

Image Size – Pixel Dimensions – This will change the file size. This change will be seen in Photoshop. This is what is available in most graphics programs. Note that to have access to this, you need to check the Resample Image box at the bottom of the window.

Canvas Size – This is the size of the canvas that the image appears on.

REQUIRED TOOLS

• Image > Resize > Image Size (make sure Resample Image is checked)
• Image > Crop or Crop tool
