THREE SELECTION MODES

 

a)      When we select an object, there are three modes that the selection can be in.  We will give them the following names:

·        Resize mode

·        Skew & Rotate mode

·        Shape mode

 

Try this!  Create a rectangle.  Use the arrow tool to select the object (Resize mode).  Click on the object again to switch modes (Skew & Rotate mode).  Now double click on the object to get the third mode (Shape mode).

c)      The small draggable arrows, squares and circles in selections are called _______________.

Try this!  Create two rectangle that overlap.  Practice moving one behind the other.  Practice using the shortcut keys.
