LESSON 02 – GETTING READY FOR CSS

You will create a 4 page website. Your goal is not to create a pretty site, but rather to create a simple functioning site. Here are more details:

• Your main page will simply be an index to the other 3 pages. It will have a title (in an <h1> tag), a short welcome paragraph and the links to the other pages.
  
  
• Each of your other three subpages must all be very similar. They can touch on three different things that are similar. Here are examples:
  
  
• They can show 3 graphic adds that you created.
• They can discuss 3 people you admire.
• They can discuss your 3 favourite sports teams.
• They can discuss your 3 favourite movies or tv shows.

• Each subpage must contain the following items.
  
  
• A title at the top (in an <h1> tag).
• A paragraph talking about the subject.
• A photo on the topic.
• A source of the photo (URL or photographer).

• Consistency is important. Keep all items in the same order.
  
  
• Backgrounds – everything is to be left white.
  
  
• Do not format anything. No bolding. No centering.

Mr. Campeau will show you an example of a simple site that you need. Remind him if necessary. J
