HTML PROJECT – RANDOM ITEM WEBSITE

For this small project, you will create a small website that advertises a product on one of the following random topics.

You will be given one NORMAL topic and one SILLY topic. You will be able to choose the one you want. You do need to create a small ad of the unused topic somewhere on your website.

REQUIREMENT – SECOND TOPIC AD

As mentioned above, the topic that is not central to your website becomes the topic for a random ad that needs to be placed anywhere on your website. Below is an example in both french and english for the Chopstick Lightsaber topic. (You only need to create the ad in one language.)

Note: It would be pholish to copy your teacher’s idea.

REQUIREMENT – 4 HTML DOCUMENTS

Your website will consist of at least 4 html documents. So you will have your main page (index.html) and at least four subpages.

Below is a website diagram of the organization of your website. So you need to link your main page to your four subpages.

REQUIREMENT – NAVIGATION

You need to create a navigation bar (menu) for your links. This should be done with images. The menu only needs to appear on the main page but you can choose to place it on all other pages as well if you prefer.

REQUIREMENT – FOR EACH HTML DOCUMENT

Each HTML document needs the following:

• A heading at the top center of the page.
• A paragraph of text.
• At least one image.
• Optional: Use a table to create a layout to have the text be beside the image
• Optional: More information and images.
• Optional: A photo gallery where you have a small image on your site that links to the full sized image for viewing.
• Optional: Background image or colour
• Optional: The heading could be a nice graphic instead of simple text.
• Optional: Décor could be used on the page.
