HIGHLIGHTS (AIRBRUSH / BLUR / BLEND MODE = OVERLAY)

You will add highlights to hair.

REQUIRED TOOLS

• Airbrush tool
• Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur
• Layer Attributes > Blend > Overlay

INSTRUCTIONS

• Carefully choose a photo. If choosing darker hair, it may be best to have hair with a fair bit a shine to amplify the effect.
• Create a new layer above the photo.
• Use the airbrush tool to paint strands of your highlight colour following the flow of the hair.
• Use Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur to blur the highlights a little.
• Double click on the layer preview image to open the Layer Attributes. Under Blend, choose Overlay.
