DRAWING – DICE

Measurements & Rules

· Opposite surfaces on a dice always add up to 7.

· Dice side length is 100.

· Divots are all half spheres with diameter of 20.

· All divots are in one of three positions on their face:

· In the middle.

· On the midpoint between the middle and a corner.

· On the midpoint between two other divots (number 6).

Note

There are several different strategies to creating this dice. You determine what works best for you.

One option is to create a sketch on each surface to allow you to create locate the sphere locations. Below, you can see the sketches used to create the 2, 3 and 6.

Some people might also opt to keep all the spheres are separate bodies initially and then use Modify > Combine (Cut) to remove all the spheres from the dice at once leaving all the divots.
