• Spacing between letters is always the same. Spacing on both ends of the letters is always the same.
  
  
• Letter thickness in all aspects of all letters is the same. In this drawing, it is always 7.
  
  
• The bounding rectangle for all letters is always the same size. (Note that there might be exceptions if other letters such as I or M or W were involved.)

Definition: The bounding rectangle is the rectangle that fits exactly around the letter.
