Space Invader – Lines & Angles

NEW CONCEPTS

· You need to convert fractions into decimal values.

· You need to figure out where to start from.

· You need to draw a temporary line

HINTS

· It is probably a good idea to start with a rectangle that is 7.5 wide and 4.5 high.

· You will have to change all numbers to decimal numbers.

· To create the dips on top, you should probably start at the top left.

· The dips at the top and bottom line up with the eyes.

· To create the inner rectangles, you will have to create a few temporary lines to get to their location.

· The corner angles have to be drawn from the side middle. This requires that you calculate the angle of the line from that point.

· The 60 degree angle needs to be converted to the drafting angle. Using that fact that the angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees, we can figure out the angle specified by ? in the image below.
