Four in One - Getting Started with Lines

The Drawing

CONCEPTS INTRODUCED

· Setting limits

· Drawing lines using the @ # < # system

· Calculating drafting angles

HINTS (SQUARE)

· The angles needed are 0, 90, 180 and 270.

HINTS (HOUSE)

· Create a vertical line from the middle of the top horizontal line to the peak of the roof. Then draw the roof’s lines. Then erase the vertical line.

HINTS (DIAMOND)

· The angles are the same as the angles used in the square but they are all offset by 45 degrees.

HINTS (PLUS)

· All lines are of length 1.
