CULMINATING ACTIVITY

 

 

EVALUATION (OLDER VERSION)

 

For most projects, each of the following areas will be worth at least 10% of your mark.  Some projects may require that the rubric be altered a little bit.  However, this should serve as a strong guide for you.

 

Independence (10)

  • Student is able to solve most of his/her own problems.
  • Student only asks for help after he/she has attempted to solve the issue independently.


Class Work (10)

  • Student works on his/her project every day in class.
  • Student is on-task at all times.


Progress Reporting (10)

  • Student regularly updates the teacher in regards to the progress of the project.
  • Student does not suddenly arrive with massive advancements on the project that weren't there since the last update.


Complete Product (10)

  • The product is complete.
  • The product has all expected components.


Complexity (10)

  • The complexity of your project reflects the complexity of the concepts taught in class.
  • The student has had to research or develop new ideas/concepts to create the project.


Overall Product (50)

  • Originality – Project is novel.  It is not the same as another student's.
  • Overall Impressiveness – Impressive product.
